Aims and Scope


Advances in Engineering Innovation (AEI) is a peer-reviewed, fast-indexing open access journal co-published by EWA Publishing and Tianjin University Research Centre on Data Intelligence and Cloud-Edge-Client Service Engineering. AEI is a comprehensive journal focusing on multidisciplinary areas of engineering and at the interface of related subjects, including, but not limited to, Artificial Intelligence, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Traffic and Transportation Engineering, etc.

AEI is an author-friendly journal that strives to meet authors' submission needs while enhancing the user experience for both authors and reviewers. AEI has established a collaborative "journal-author-reviewer" system (JAR System) to provide maximum support to authors during the reviewing process. The responsible editors/associate editors are committed to promptly addressing the progress of submitted manuscripts. AEI is devoted to upholding high standards and efficiency as its core principles, with the primary objective of enhancing the user experience for all kinds of authors.

AEI sincerely invites and welcomes scholars from around the world to share their research accomplishments. In its endeavour to promote global academic equity and contribute to disciplinary advancement, AEI extends additional support and fee waivers to researchers from third-world countries, as well as underdeveloped regions.
